Which Lipstick Is Right For You

Lipsticks these days is available in different variants, you can spoil yourself with innumerable choices. Every brand has its own unique type of lipstick. Some of them are in the form of sticks, then there is lip gloss, lip lacquer, matte lipsticks, creamy lipsticks, liquid lip colors, lip gels, high gloss lipsticks, long stay lipsticks, lip stains, lip plumper, lip pencils, lip crayons and so on.

The list is endless, I remember when I was growing up my mother used to have only one type of lipstick. The most common one that you roll in and out from a short bottle. But these days the choices are so many that it becomes dificult to control the temptation to own all of them.

But before you put your hands to choose any of these lipsticks, it is good to know which type of lipstick will suit you the most. Given below are some of the most commonly used lipsticks and the types of lips it will suit.

Matte Lipstick - This type of lipstick is a bit dry and will not suit people with chapped lips or those you have lines on their lips. The lipstick can make such lines appear deeper, it can make the lines prominent instead of covering it. People with this kind of lips should use creamy or moisture whip lipsticks. Moreover matte lipstick can make thin lips look even thinner, so it is best for those who have a thick/full lips.

Creamy Lipstick – This kind of lipstick usually suits everyone and is exceptionally good for people with dry lips. It hydrates the lips and makes your pout look fuller. Look for Vitamin E or Aloe vera, these ingredients have emollient properties and won’t dry your lips.

Glossy lipstick – This should be used as a final coat to add some drama to a dull and boring lip colour. Glossy looks sexy and adds a lot of oomph to your regular lipstick. High gloss lipsticks can transform your look completely. But they need re-application every 1 to 2 hours.
