Hair loss is a common problem but it can be treated if the exact cause of hair loss is identified. So what causes hair loss? Well, there are various factors that affect the health of your hair. Stress – Stress has some damaging effects not only on your hair but also on your skin and the whole body. Stress can ruin your health completely and cause severe hair loss. In fact the dry powdery type of dandruff is caused due to stress, which ultimately leads to hair fall. Try to eliminate stress by indulging in some yoga and meditation. Though these methods of de-stressing may not appeal to you, but the effects are almost instant. Indulging yourself in some sports or a hobby can also bust stress. The idea is to take the mind off the stressors, divert your mind with anything that interests you. This is the best way to deal with stress.
Lack of sleep – Human body repairs itself when we are asleep and that too in undisturbed sound sleep. The minimum sleep one requires is eight hours. A good nights sleep would mean that your mind and body are relaxed and rejuvenated. Lack of sleep is often associated with hair fall and dark circles under the eyes.
Genetic - Hair loss can also be genetic in nature, you may get it as a family gift. There isn’t much that you can do about hereditary hair loss, but you can certainly take extra care of your mane. However, if the hair loss does not reduce with home care then you may have to go in for some advanced hair treatment like trichology, hair transplantation etc.
