What are the Causes of Extreme Hair Loss in Women?
The problem of hair loss disturbs the mindset of both men and women. There is no doubt that there is shedding of around 60-80 strands of hair on daily basis due to washing the hair and brushing the hair.

These factors may be highly responsible for hair loss. It is very important for an individual to come out of the stressful conditions, so that the hair starts growing at its normal pace.
Hair styling treatments
Women may also face the problem of excessive hair loss due to various kinds of hair styling treatments such as use of heat generating hair styling equipments, and use of chemicals in the hair due to hair coloring or hair perming procedures. Also, tying the hair into different rigorous styles such as braids, extensions, tight ponytails and cornrows can lead to hair fall. The hair styling methods of bleaching, straightening and dying the hair are the other causes of hair loss. The hair shafts can also get damaged due to excessive styling or brushing of the hair, thus resulting in hair loss.
Medical causes of hair loss
Hair loss can also occur due to medical treatments such as radiation therapy and chemotherapy. Illnesses such as arthritis, heart disease, and depression can also lead to hair loss.
