Ways to Get Smooth Feet
Though feet are the most important parts of the body of an individual, yet they are ignored the most. We make most use of feet during the day, thus resulting in deteriorating the health of the feet. It is very important to take care of the feet on regular basis, so that one gets smooth, soft and beautiful feet. Let us here discuss about how to get smooth feet.
Method one
Two tablespoons of sugar and one tablespoon of olive oil are taken in single hand. The ingredients are them mixed in the hands by rubbing both palms together.
The feet are then massaged in a gentle manner with this mixture for around two to three minutes. In case of extremely rough feet, the process of massaging may be continued for much longer time period.
After the processes of massaging and rubbing are over, the feet are washed with lukewarm water. It is very important to wash the feet in a gentle manner.
The feet are then patted dry.
The above method of feet massage would definitely help in keeping the skin of the feet smooth and soft.
Method two
Take a large bowl and fill it warm water.
A quarter cup of baking soda and one cup Epsom salt are added to the bowl.
The feet are then soaked in water for around fifteen minutes.
A towel is taken and the feet are patted dry with it.
A scrub with apricot base is taken and the feet are massaged with this scrub in a circular motion. The dry skin would get loosened as a result. Pumice stone can also be used for scrubbing the feet.
The feet are then cleaned with warm water. A towel is taken for patting the feet dry.
Moisturizing lotion or petroleum jelly is applied on the feet thereafter.
After that socks are worn in the feet, so that the moisture is locked in the feet.
Thus, it is recommended to follow any of the above methods of taking care of the feet at least once in a week, so that the feet remain smooth and soft and do not get rough.
