Who doesn’t want healthy and lustrous hair, thick long hair is certainly an attention grabber. If you have been desiring a full mane, this is the right time to take some steps. Summer is that time of the year when your hair grows faster than any other season. So, if you have been longing to grow your hair, do it now. What’s more, we share some food secrets with you. A healthy diet is essential for a healthy mane, so eat these foods and pamper your crowning glory.

Milk and Egg - Since our hair is made of dead protein called keratin, you need to supply it with proteins to improve its texture and quality. Eggs and milk are a good source of protein, so make it a part of your diet and see the results. But you need to be patient, you cannot see immediate results. Give yourself some time to absorb the goodies from this food item. The results will definitely show up, however, it may take some time.

Supply Vitamins – There are certain vitamins that are required by our hair for better growth and health. Some of vitamins would be Vitamin B6, B 12 and other vitamins from the B complex family. You can find them in salmon, bacon, brown rice and green leafy vegetables.

Minerals - Our hair needs minerals like iron, zinc and folic acid. Some sources of these minerals would be green leafy veggies, beef, bacon and salmon. If you cannot include all of this in your diet, try some supplements. Vitamin and Iron supplements, taken in moderation after consulting a physician is a good idea.

There are certain eating habits, which will not only promote hair growth but will also help you manage weight. So, we suggest you eat nutritious food at regular intervals of 4 hours. Eat moderately and always opt for vegetable sandwiches over burgers. Replace your aerated drinks with fresh fruit juice. Keep these simple tips in mind for a healthy mane.
