V Day Grooming
If you are a die hard romantic and want to celebrate Valentines day with lots of romance then read our grooming guide or tips. Grooming is not just restricted to hairstyle or hair do’s, it is a complete package. Everything matters, right from your hair to clothes to accessories and skin. Remember there is nothing more beautiful than flawless radiant skin and lustrous shiny hair. No matter whatever hairstyle you choose, you should be able to carry it off with elan. Picture this – you and your date are seated at the most beautiful restaurant.
There is soft music playing, the waiters are smiling benevolently. You lean forward and your valentine sees you by the light of the candles and falls truly, madly and deeply in love with you. If you really want this to happen then get the hairstyles that will look great no matter where you go.
1) Straight locks - This is the vintage look with glossy straight hair divided by a middle parting. To get this retro look, use a moisturising and colour enhancing shampoo and conditioner. Flat iron the hair from root to tip and use a shine serum through the length.
2) Curls - Go for the roughed up look. Texturise with hairspray and then back comb the sections at the back of the head. Pull forward a few strands to frame your face and twist them around your fingers to get a soft look.
3) Waves - Create tousled waves, use a volumising shampoo and skip the conditioner if your hair is in good condition because you don’t want to weigh it down. Spray volumiser all over and blow dry hair with your head tipped forward. Do not use a comb or brush, work your fingers through the hair to create the look.
4) Hair accessories - To make your hairstyle a little glamorous, accessorise it. Hair accessories allow you to make a statement and they also help in managing your hair. Small touches such as crystal hair pins, pins with sparkle and shine are the best bet. You can also use fresh flowers as accessories, pin a small red rose for that passionate evening out.
