The Truth About Beauty Sleep

Sleep is very important for a healthy and glowing skin, women usually need 8 hours of sleep every day. If your lifestyle doesn’t allow you to sleep for that long then think of some alternate arrangements to ensure you have a peaceful good nights sleep. During the night our skin restores itself from the harmful effects of stress and daily wear and tear. It repairs and heals itself in the night. Inadequate sleep will lead to dark circles under the eyes and fine lines.

The under eye skin is very thin and delicate and hence any signs of sleeplessness will show up on the skin. It is not only the number of hours that is important but the sleep should be peaceful and uninterrupted.

If you are stressed and often wake up in the middle of the night, it is a bad sign. Interrupted sleep will not do good to your skin and body. When we sleep, our body calms down and relaxes completely but you are unable to sleep continuously for the whole night then it is a cause of concern.

We share some tips for a good night’s sleep.
