The Beauty of Straight Hair
September 5, 2008
Every girl has the fancy of owning perfect, straight hair that she can leave open. We all crave poker-straight hair that responds so beautifully to all experiments.
Straight hair is the easiest hair type to deal with. On shorter lengths, it is most manageable and does not turn unruly or messy easily. The help of a few clips is all it takes to kept he hair in check. Straight hair can be worn in a boyish style, as a blunt or mushroom cut, or even in slightly more experimental styles. Straight hair also allows you the option of having a fringe or bangs that lend the face more character.
On mid-length hair, straight hair looks delightful when left open. Well washed and conditioned hair can be brushed well and left loose, and the result is magical. Combined with bangs in the front, it completes a style that can be worn casually during the day, and formally during the evening equally successfully. The hair can also be cut in steps and layers, both of which add volume and bounce to the hair.
Long hair is most manageable in a plait, as leaving it open tends to tangle the hair easily.
For casual styles, straight hair can be brushed and left open effortlessly. To dress it up, running tongs can smooth out waves and set the hair well.
The advantage of straight hair is that the scope for experimenting with styles is the greatest. Its easy nature makes it responsive to almost all products, and it also sets very smoothly.
The Chinese and Japanese are known to have the straightest hair that is envied by all. The similar effect can not be obtained through artificial straightening using either the Japanese or German technique.
At the end of the day, no one is quite satisfied with the way their hair looks. They always crave what they don’t have. Those with straight hair should consider themselves lucky. It’s not often that one is blessed with gifts like these.
