While the winter brings with it the dull dry skin period, pamper your skin with these simple beauty remedies and look your best. You just need to step into your kitchen, without your apron to get gorgeous. Though skin care is usually restricted to the skin of your face but we share some treats that will save your entire body.

Face - Prepare a home made face scrub with dried fruits and fresh fruits, we suggest a papaya face scrub. Mash a small piece of papaya and add 1 tablespoon honey, 1 table spoon rose water and 2 crushed/powered almonds. Mix all the ingredients and scrub it gently on the face and neck, leave it for 15 minutes and then wash it off.

Follow this with a face pack. Mix multani mitti, rose water and mint paste, leave it aside for half an hour. Now take some curd and mix it with the multani mitti mixture, use a hand blender to make a smooth thick paste. Apply this paste on the face and neck and allow it to dry, wash with plain water.

Hands – Another fruit recepie for your skin. Mash 1 banana, add a teaspoon of honey and 1 table spoon of besan. Apply this paste to your hands, specially elbows, let it dry and wash it with lukewarm water. You can also use this paste on cracked feet, it has emollient properties.

Body – Make a body mask at home with oatmeal. Soak oatmeal in milk for at least 15 minutes and add some honey to it. Blend it in a hand blender to make a smooth paste, apply it on the entire body and leave it for half an hour. This is an excellent moisturizing mask and will leave your skin smooth and nourished. Make an excellent moisturiser by mixing strawberries and shea butter, make a paste and store it in refrigerator, discard after one week.
