Skin Care for People with Acne
Among various kinds of skin related problems, many people face the problem of acne. Acne is a severe skin related problem which, most of the times, occur on oily skin. Acne can occur on the skin in the form of pimples, blackhead, cysts and freckles. First of all, it is very important for an individual suffering from acne to clean the skin in a proper manner. Make use of oil free cleansers to clean the skin.
Cleansing of the skin should be done twice in a day, i.e. in morning and in evening. Also, make sure to cleanse the skin as soon as possible after sweating.
Sweating can aggravate the problem of acne on the skin. Therefore, the skin of an individual should be cleansed immediately after sweating. Make sure not to scrub the skin while cleansing. This may aggravate the problem of acne.
The cleanser should be rinsed with tepid water. Extreme hot water should not be used for getting rid of cleanser from the skin.
People with acne prone skin should avoid using oily products on the hair. Use of oily products on the hair may transfer the oil to the skin, thus clogging the pores. This would aggravate the problem of acne.
Use of toners, astringents and masks on the skin are not the solutions to deal with acne. On the contrary, these products may worsen the situation of acne.
Do not make the mistake of pricking or squeezing the pimples. Pricking or squeezing of the pimples would increase the healing time and result in scarring.
It is also recommended not to touch the acne prone skin again and again. This may worsen the situation of acne and result in flare ups.
Use of oily make up products should be avoided. Rather an individual should make use of oil free and natural make up products to enhance the texture of the skin.
