Scanty Hair

Every woman desires thick, long and lustrous hair, though the quality and thickness of our hair is hereditary and is determined by our genes but to a certain extent our lifestyle also plays a role in determining the quality of our hair.

There are some people who are gifted with naturally beautiful hair but over the years the quality of the hair deteriorates due to various external and internal factors. External factors like air pollution caused due to dust, smoke, gas, dirt and sweat can play havoc with your hair, not to mention the chemical treatments like perming, rebonding etc.

Not just that exposure to sun rays is also harmful for your hair. There are some internal factors also which can have a toll on your hair like stress and tension, stress causes hair fall and is responsible for dry flaky dandruff which ultimately lead to hair fall. Some people experience thinning of hair and are ignorant towards it until their hair becomes scanty.

It is important to take control of the situation and practise some home remedies listed below :

1) Use less quantity of shampoo, and rinse your hair thoroughly with water.

2) Hair loss due to oily scalp and dandruff can be cured by rinsing your hair with tea- water and lemon. Boil used tea leaves in water, after boiling you should have atleast 4 cups of tea water, let it cool and add juice of one lemon.

3) Have a small bowl of sprouts everyday and include fresh fruits, raw salads, curd and green vegetables in your diet.

4) Boil neem leaves in water on low flame, cool and strain. Make a paste of the leaves, and apply on your scalp. You can also add fenugreek (methi) powder to the neem leaf paste. Neem works as an antiseptic and will leave your scalp squeaky clean.
