The best way to apply oil is by massing it with finger tips and following it up with a hot towel wrap. Use a hot towel wrap at least 2 to 3 times, it will ensure that the oil gets absorbed into the hair shaft. It is good to use coconut oil, since it penetrates the maximum as compared to any other hair oil.

Milk – This is a wonder drug for your hair, milk has some acids which are good for hair and skin. Simply apply milk with a cotton wool on your hair and scalp and see the difference. Milk and milk products are the best hair care remedies. In fact, curd is an excellent conditioner and improves the quality of your hair, keeps the hair soft and shiny. Add some black pepper powder to curd if you want to turn your grey hair black. With regular use of this remedy your grays will slowly turn darker.

Honey - Replace your regular conditioner with honey, it will keep your hair shiny. Honey is good for the health of your hair and is a natural conditioner. Mix a tablespoon of honey in a jug of water and use it as a final rinse.

Banana - Mash a banana and apply it on your hair, though it is a bit messy but it is very nourishing and has some deep conditioning properties. Banana has emollient properties and is good for both hair and skin. If you find the consistency too thick for application then you can mix it with some milk.
