Receding Hairline

Though a receding hairline cannot be stopped completely but it can certainly be controlled. The main cause of this condition lies in the metabolic activity of the body. Enzyme blocker treatments are recommended in this condition since they protect the hair roots from damage. When metabolism reduces in the scalp follicles, it causes hair loss, at times the hair becomes extremely dry and brittle and leads to breakage. This decreased metabolism is caused due to Thyroid. Lack of Iodine in the body affects the functioning of thyroid, when the thyroid doesn’t work right it leads to hair loss.

Though Alopecia is common amongst men but women are also affected by this problem.Diet plays an important role in the health of your hair, ensure that your diet is a mix of nutrients to prevent greater hair loss. Stress is also another culprit for hair loss, emotional stress has a negative effect on the hair growth and prolonged stress can cause complete baldness. Stress causes constriction of the blood vessels in the scalp and exerts tension on the muscle tissues. This blocks the blood from reaching the hair roots since the tiny cappillaries are clogged.
