Pamper Your Feet Right At Home

Our foot has to endure the whole body weight and tread on a variety of things everyday. But, they don’t complain! But we can inject some love into them by indulging in a refreshing pedicure. Soak your feet:

Soaking the feet is first step of pedicure. Soak your feet in lukewarm water with a little salt in it. You can also add essential oils for a refreshing fragrance.

Exfoliate:

Soaking the feet in lukewarm water opens the pores and softens the cuticle. Then, exfoliate the dead skin by a scrubber.

Nails check:

Use a cuticle buffer to clean the nails and a filer to shape them in desired manner. Clip your toenails by going straight and rounded at the edges.

Polish it right:

Separate the fingers with cotton pads and apply nail color. Remove the old nail polish with the help of a nail color remover (thinner) and apply fresh nail color.

Moisturize:

Remove your feet from the tub and soak in a soft towel. Apply a smoothening moisturizer or crème evenly till the ankles. If you have cracked feet, apply a crack-healing crème to the toes.

Rose water is refreshing:

Rose water is extremely refreshing. You can sprinkle a little bit of rose water on the feet for the refreshing fragrance.

Wear socks:

Socks keep the foot away from dirt. So, wear socks as much as possible. If you feel hot, apply a little talcum powder on the feet before wearing the socks.

Apply petroleum jelly:

Petroleum jelly helps in making the feet soft and smooth. Apply evenly on the feet and wear socks to bed. Next morning, you get a happy foot!
