Treatment for Ojon Restorative Hair

Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment is a conjugated oil in solidified form, with a texture that is much like a balm or pomade. As the instructions directed, I warmed a scoop full of Ojon in the palm of my hands until it liquefied. I then applied it on dry hair, working my way from scalp to ends. Since I had some household chores to do, I was able to leave it on for much longer then the minimum 10-20 minutes (I actually had it on for closer to three hours, so the deep conditioning effect should have been greatly amplified). I then hopped in the shower and shampooed the Ojon oil out of my hair, following up with a conditioner.

How is it different: The treatment is 99% natural, and free of preservatives, color, and silicone. Ojon oil contains omega-3, -6, and -9 essential fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids are essential components for normal human growth and development, and omega-6 fatty acids are essential components of cell membrane structure. A deficiency of these essential acids are common and can cause dry, itchy skin, brittle nails and hair, and can also lead to hair loss. Clinical testing proves that one application of Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment increases hair strength by 16%.

Restorative Hair Treatment. The ojon line is a wonderful one and the restorative hair treatment is a miracle. The treatment is made of palm nut oil from the tropical Ojon tree. The product has a very unique smell that I find very pleasing. You use this treatment about once a week and leave it on for at least 20 minutes. Your hair does not need to be clean first. Every Tuesday morning, I simply apply this product to my hair, tie it back in a ponytail and then go about my morning. I have two small children so it is usually at least another hour before I get to wash it out. The product is kind of a waxy solid that you liquefy by rubbing it in your hands before apply to your hair. You start right at the root and saturate you hair with it. After waiting at least 20 minutes you simply wash out. I find that my hair is defiantly softer, shiner and thicker. The first time I used it I think that I used too much and my hair was very greasy, however, the second time I used it I used less and it was much better.

This uniquely concentrated, versatile hair rejuvenator contains 100 percent Ojon palm nut oil to improve the condition of damaged, color-treated, or processed hair without weighing it down. Fortifying, rebuilding, and nourishing, it leaves hair extraordinarily shiny, silky, and manageable.To use: As a Deep Conditioning Treatment: Warm teaspoon full in the palms of your hands (more for longer hair) and distribute onto to dry hair from scalp to ends, leave on for 10-20 minutes, and shampoo well.As a Leave-In Conditioner: Warm a small amount in the palms of your hands until it becomes a lightweight oil, and distribute thoroughly through towel-dried hair. Style as usual.As a Shine Enhancer: Heat a very small amount in the palms of your hands and smooth over the surface of dry-styled hair.

However, this type of conditioning won’t have much effect on the cuticle, the outer layer of hair, so you’ll still need to use a good conditioner to smooth the hair and make it easier to comb.

Is it a good value? Well, that’s another question. Any other coconut oil based product should do about the same job and should be much cheaper. Off hand we can’t recommend any specific brands, but look for products that feature coconut oil as the first ingredient. (If anyone has any recommendations we’d be glad to review them.
