Nail Art

Nail art was non-existent some 3 -4 years ago but has suddenly emerged as a fashionable thing to do. Although nail art originated in Japan but there were some signs of nail art in India also, specially within the tribal communities who decorated their nails with Henna. Nail art has now become a rage the world over, it is best suited for parties, occasions and prom nights, I dont know how well you can carry your nail art to work, it can actually become a distraction if it is too loud, subtle designs can be considered for work wear.

Though nail art can be done all by yourself at home but there are many profesional nail artists and ever growing nail salons in the city, simple nail art procedures like use of stickers can be done at home without any help from expert. Apart from stickers there are other alternatives like embellishments in the form of stones, flowers, glitter etc.

You can explore your creativity on your nails, they actually become a canvas for your expression, even if you don’t use any material for nail art you can create designs with different coloured nail paints. Always use contrast colors for a better effect and cover it up with a transparent coat, this will protect your design and the art will stay for a longer period.

These days digital nail art is also catching up, with this type of nail art you can actualy print any type of picture on your nails. All you have to do is take a picture of an object, person, etc and get is reproduced on your nails, it is an exact replica and you will be amazed by this technology. The image is scanned in a computer and then you are asked to place your hand in a machine which prints the design on your nails, isn’t it amazing ?
