Makeup Mania

Makeup is a fantasy of every little girl, they often ape their role models or idols. Girls dream of makeup and hairstyle at a very young age, as early as 5 to 6 year of age. They fantasise their looks and cringe for not being allowed to use makeup. Such is the makeup mania, it can draw children as young as 5 year old, so you can imagine the fascination it holds amongst teenagers and adults. Makeup is an art and should be done by a makeup artist, though you can do it yourself at home with some guidance. We share with you some makeup Do’s and Dont’s to make you gorgeous.

There are some tips to apply makeup:

Do’s -

Always use a foundation which is an exact match of your complexion. Yellow under tone suits Asian skin, so buy one which is closest to your skin colour.

Use good quality makeup brushes and use separate brushes for eye shadow, lipstick, blusher etc. Always sterlise brushes after use and always wash makeup sponges as well.

Use powder makeup if you have oily skin, Mineral makeup is the best since it looks and feels natural.
Makeup should be of good quality else it is crack up and accumulate in the creases.

Dont’s -

Avoid using a foundation which has a pink or orange under tone.

It is not necessary to match your lipstick with eyeshadow, you can play with colours.

Do not wear a brown mascara or eyeliner, it will not pep up your eyes, only use black mascara and eyeliner.

Never highlight all the features, work on only one feature and keep the rest of your face pale.

Lipstick on teeth is a cardinal sin so be careful. Also chapped lips are a complete turn off, so hydrate your lips regularly. If you have dry lips then wear a glossy lipstick instead of matte.
