Makeup Ideas For Eyes

Eye makeup is an art, rather any makeup is an art and you cannot acquire this skill, it has to be in built. But if you have a keen interest and an eye for detail then makeup techniques can be learned. There are some thumb rules that need to be followed for eye makeup. If you get your basics right, you can easily don eye makeup all by yourself. Firstly, you would need the following things; eyeshadow palette, eye liner, mascara, eyelash curler, makeup brushes, concealer, foundation, moisturiser, wet sponge, ear bud and loose powder. These things are a must have for eye makeup. Having got the right products, we share the tricks of applying makeup.

Firstly, wash your face and moisturise it, use a special eye cream for hydrating the eye area. Ensure that you massage the moisturiser well, so that it gets absorbed in the skin, dab excess of moisturiser with cotton. Now apply concealer over the eyelids and under the eyes. Use a shade that is lighter than the skin colour. Blend it well, so that it does not accumulate in fine lines. Now, apply foundation over the eyes and again blend well. The shade should match perfectly with your skin colour. This is the first step to eye makeup.

The next step is to apply eye shadow. But before you put on the colour, apply a white coloured shadow on the upper eyelid. This will create a perfect base for your coloured eye shadow. Use the eye shadow palette in three colours, but from the same colour family. Use the darker shade at the centre of the eyelid, the medium one close to the lashes and the lighter one just below your brow bone.

Blend all the colours well, blending is the key to good eye makeup. Now is the time to apply eyeliner, use a thin line of eye liner over the upper lids and fill the eyes with kajal. Pep up your eyes with mascara, use a thick coat, your lashes will stand out. Create dramatic eyes with these simple tricks.
