Long Hairstyling Tips
Long hair is always considered sensuous and sexy, it offers plenty of styling options as well. But the most difficult part is to grow your hair long, it needs a lot of patience and a good hair care regime. The in-between period of growing hair is the most toughest part, it not only needs good hair care but also regular trims. People often commit this mistake of shunning the salon when they wish to grow hair. Infact getting a regular trim will ensure that you adjust volume and balance the weight.
The hair at the ends is the oldest so it tends to get rough and dry, no amount of conditioning will help. The shape of your hair changes as it grows long hence you need the trims else your head will look like a mushroom with the ends turning out. Your hair will not remain smooth and the bottom will become too wide.
A trim every 2 months is good enough, its ok if you just cut half an inch. While in the process of grwoing hair you might feel that the last 2 to 3 inches takes very long to grow. But fret not, you have a decent amount of length to play with until your hair grows to the desired length.
We share some tricks for the in-between period, the most simple thing you can do to your hair is change its parting. This will also help in creating loads of volume, especially if you are moving your hair from one side to another. You might need some hair spray to keep your locks in place which can be a task when you change your parting.
Paly with the texture to change your look, if you have straight hair then create sexy curls. Apply some mousse on damp hair and blow dry it. Wrap sections around a curling iron to create gentle waves. If you are a curly locked lass then use a straightening lotion and blow dry. The idea is to create different looks without having to cut your hair while you want to grow it long.
