Short haircuts are a rage these days, going short doesn’t mean ” One look fits all” type of cut. There is a crop for everyone. Check out the various types of short hair cuts for different face types.
1) Oval face – If you have an oval shape with strong features like defines cheek bones then this style will suit you perfectly.Prep damp hair with a volumizing lotion and blow dry in an upward direction to obtain maximum root lift. Use a root lift styler to ensure ultimate height where it’s needed the most. For a style that heads skywards, use a tail comb to lightly back comb the central sections and use a hair spray for a strong hold.
2) Square face – Usually short hairstyles don’t suit a square face, however, if worn correctly a short hair cut will look fabulous. We recommend a little longer Bob which is past chin length. It will flatter a wider jawline, add a long fringe to soften the face shape. A few asymmetrical layers will balance out angular features. Keep this look smooth with a blow dry and define layers with a straightening balm for a sleek finish.
3) Long narrow face – Use a round brush while blow drying, this will create volume and shape at the root and sides. It will also help to produce a sleek and glossy shine. To finish use a lightweight texture polish for an ultra glossy and smooth dazzle.
4) Small face with delicate features – Go for a layered crop and when it comes to styling, get to work creating as much texture as possible. This look is not for freaks, it relies on looking ruffled. Rub a small amount of textured paste through your palms and rub it into your hair. Use a mini iron to tease out random sections for a unique style.
