Skin care market has flourished and blossomed in India only recently. With big brands entering the Indian market of cosmetics and skin care, there is awareness amongst masses about the need for skin care. Skin care is very essential but instead of going for expensive creams and lotions and burning a hole in your pocket, try some home remedies. These home remedies are not only cheap but are very effective. They are absolutely safe and give permanent results.
Though home remedies are usually messy, we have delved deep into the world of fruits and vegetables and found some remedies that are non-messy. Get your hand on these easy and non-messy home care tips for skin.
1) Moisturise when your skin is damp and use a Vitamin E moisturiser. Break a capsule of Vitamin E and mix it with Aloe vera gel.
2) Rub the peel of banana for 2 to 3 minutes, use the inner part of the skin directly on the skin and then wash it off.
3) Dry skin - If you have dry skin then try this remedy take 1/4 cup of oatmeal flour, 1 teaspoon of Vitamin E oil and 1 teaspoon of milk mix these ingredients and apply gently to your skin. Wash it off with milk when the skin is semi dry. This will make your skin supple. Another home remedy is to make a paste of papaya, almond , orange and Vitamin E oil and apply the same on the face or neck.
4) Oily skin – For oily skin try this home treatment, mix 2 teaspoons each of green gram flour, wheatgrass paste, honey and water. Apply this paste on face and neck and wash it off with cucumber juice and then splash water. Try this if you have very greasy skin, take 2 teaspoons each of Jojoba oil, buttermilk and water, mix it and apply gently. Wash it with lukewarm water.
