Hydration For Beautiful Skin
With the onset of summer, dehydration is a common problem. Not only does our body get dehydrated but also our skin tends to become dry and wrinkly. In order to save your skin and to keep it glowing and beautiful, moisturising is a must. Of course, not to mention the importance of sunscreen. Sun damage can badly tan your skin and make it look dull and lifeless. Do not let the heat beat your glowing skin. Take some preventive measures and replenish your skin when it needs the most. There are 3 basic steps to a clean and clear skin, they are; cleansing, toning and moisturising.
The heat during summer can cause a lot of sweating, which can lead to clogging of pores, retention of dust and grime. So it is essential to keep your face clean, wash your face with a pH balanced face wash at least two to three times in a day. And everytime you wash your face, follow it up with a toner and moisturiser. Now, this is an important step. Firstly, your toner should be alcohol free and your moisturiser should suit your skin type.
There are some rules that should be kept in mind while choosing a moisturiser.
Rule # 1 - Do not buy highly fragrant products, light fragrance is good but don’t buy a product since it smells good. Your moisturiser should do its job well, of nourishing the skin.
Rule # 2 - Use separate moisturisers for different body parts. Do not use your facial moisturiser for the eyes. You need a separate eye cream, since the eye area is very delicate and the skin around eyes is very thin. A heavy moisturiser will not suit your eyes. You can even get boils if you use the wrong moisturising treatment for eyes. Similarly, use different moisturisers for different body parts like hands, feet, arms, face, eyes and so on. Ideally you should have 3 to 4 bottles of moisturisers.
Rule # 3 - Your moisturiser for the face should include sunscreen, this is a must during summer. The harmful UV rays can snatch away life from your skin. Your moisturiser is a multi-utilitarian item, if you run on on hair products like leave in conditioner or serum. You can use your moisturiser to work your way through frizzy hair, and it really works wonders.
