Make sure to cleanse your skin with a good cleansing lotion twice in a day. Make sure that the cleanser that you choose is non-irritating.
After cleansing the skin, make sure to exfoliate the skin with a good exfoliating scrub. Exfoliating the skin would help in getting rid of all the dead skin and would help in imparting a revitalized and rejuvenated glow to the skin. An individual need not exfoliate the skin daily. Exfoliating the skin twice in a week would help a great deal in serving the purpose of attaining radiant glow on the skin.
Toner should be applied on the skin to improve the firmness and elasticity of the skin. Make sure that the toner is not enriched with alcohol, as alcohol is a drying agent and tends to dry out the skin.
After toning the skin, apply moisturizer on the skin. Application of moisturizer would help a great deal in making the skin soft and smooth, thus helping to improve the appearance and look of the skin. Moisturizer should be applied on the skin twice in a day, i.e. in the morning and in the evening.
Make sure to drink plenty of water in a day, so that the skin remains well hydrated and well nourished.
Pregnant women should remain away from fried and spicy foods. This would help in stimulating the sebaceous glands, thus helping in the production of more oil. The health of the skin would be improved amazingly.
