How To Take Care of Skin
Taking care of skin need not necessarily mean investing in expensive creams and lotions. Simple home care can do wonders to your skin, all you have to invest is some time for the products for skin care are available in your home. Skin care has not gained much importance in India, women desire healthy and glowing skin but fail to understand that it cannot be achieved in one day. Usually women believe that a facial can make their skin glow instantly in one day, though regular facials do improve the quality of the skin but nothing can work in just one day.
Skin care should be done everyday, you have to give some time to your skin, it is a daily activity. You can either go for cosmetic products or opt for natural products, the latter is better on your pocket plus it gives long lasting results. All you need for good skin care is patience and little time. We share simple home care tips for beautiful skin.
1) Make a paste of curd, lemon, besan (gram flour) and turmeric powder. Apply this on your hands and face and leave it for 20 minutes, within a month you will notice smooth flawless skin.
2) Another remedy is to use rice powder mixed with milk as a scrub on hands and face, you can also use this on the entire body since it is a little less messy. It gives a smooth skin instantly, it acts as an exfoliator. Milk is known to have certain acids which are good for the skin.
3) Rub sandalwood stick on a stone plate and use this paste for making an excellent face pack. Mix little turmeric powder to this paste and apply it on the face, it has extremely soothing and cooling properties. For an instant shine on face apply honey mixed with lemon juice, it will make your skin shine, do this just before a party or occasion.
