How to Make Homemade Foot Scrub
In order to keep the feet soft and supple, it is very important for an individual to exfoliate the feet from time to time. There is no doubt that there are a lot of foot scrubs available in the market these days that help in exfoliating the skin of the feet, thus giving them a soft and smooth texture. However, these commercially available foot scrubs may be harmful for the skin sometimes due to the chemicals contained in them. Therefore home made foot scrubs are always considered to be the best for exfoliating and pampering the skin of the feet in a wonderful manner.
Ways of Making Homemade Foot Scrub
A very good home based foot scrub can be made with the help of half cup baby oil and one cup sugar. Both the ingredients are mixed together and applied on the feet to make them superbly moisturized. Sugar helps in getting rid of calluses from the feet and baby oil helps in moisturizing the skin by penetrating deep inside the skin.
If the feet are very tired and sweat a lot, a scrub made of salt would work wonders. Mineral oil and salt are combined together and applied on the feet. The feet are gently exfoliated with the help of salt, while getting rid of all the sweat and the excess oils from the skin. Also, the feet would be cleaned in a wonderful with the help of this foot scrub.
Lime, grapefruit and whole lemon are crushed together for creating a wonderful foot scrub. All these citrus fruits would help a great deal in softening the skin of the feet and giving a healthy and radiant glow to the feet. After massaging the feet with this scrub for a few minutes, the feet are rinsed off with lukewarm water. A lotion is then applied on the feet to moisturize them.
Lavender oil and Epson salt are combined together for creating a wonderful scrub for the feet. Lavender oil helps in relaxing the feet and Epson salt helps in exfoliating and cleaning the skin of the feet in a great way. To one cup Epson salt, lavender oil and water are added to make a wonderful foot scrub.
