It is recommended to stick to single brand of hair care products such as conditioner and shampoo. Frequent change of these products may result in hair loss.
Use of heat generating hair styling equipments, such as blow dryer, flat iron and curling iron should be minimized for minimizing hair loss.
An individual should also minimize the use of styling products such as hair gel, hair spray and hair mousse. Excessive use of these products may damage the hair and may result in hair loss.
Hot oil massage of the scalp is a very good way to deal with hair loss. Circulation in the scalp is improved with the help of hot oil massage. Hot oil massage of the scalp also helps in promoting hair growth.
Lukewarm or cold water should be used to wash the hair. Use of hot water for hair washing may result in weakening of the hair at the roots, thus resulting in hair fall.
It is recommended not to wash the hair daily. Daily washing of the hair may strip off natural oils from the hair, thus resulting in dry and brittle hair.
It is highly recommended to eat a well balanced and nutritious diet, so that the hair grows in a healthy manner and hair loss is restricted.
