How to Enhance Hair Growth

Time to break the truth! There’s no magic bullet of growing your hair INSTANTLY. Your hair growth potential depends on a number of external and internal factors, and affecting how these factors work is the best way to influence your hair growth.

First of all, let’s get to the inside part. Hair is an outward reflection of your inner health. Eat a healthy balanced diet, drink lots of water and do regular exercise. Include a lot of protein (source: brewer’s yeast, calves liver, eggs, fish, yogurt, beans and wheat germ) in your diet (hey, your hair is made of protein after all!) and water flushes out the toxins that clog up inside your body impeding your smoothly running physiological functions. Don’t let yourself stress over anything. The more stressed and anxious you become, the more hair problems you face. It is as simple as that. Practice meditation or deep breathing exercises to focus your energy on the life force, thus reviving your whole body.

Don’t take too much of alcohol, caffeine, carbonated sodas or nicotine. They don’t do any good for your hair, not to mention the harm they mete out to your overall health. Get plenty of sleep (at least 7-9 hours necessary). Lack of sleep can be one of the factors causing hair problems.

Moreover, don’t forget that your hair is after all a dead protein material. To go by the scientific facts, the hair grows by 6 inches every year that means, one-half inch a month. Now, imagine how old your shoulder length hair can be. At least two years! Just think about a silk thread after two years of wear n’ tear. Take care of your hair. Don’t rub or comb it unnecessarily or roughly. Don’t use hot water or heating appliances on it. Get regular oil massage, shampooing and conditioning from the hair salons (or at home if you can do it yourself). And yes, do remind yourself to trim off the split ends periodically.

And along with all these stuff, if you want you can consume hair growth supplement pills as well. Though, nothing can subrogate the healthy diet, regular exercise and adequate rest, but sure these ‘supplements’ do supplement the benefits of the above routine. But don’t ever go for any over-the-counter product just like that. Take a more cautious look and confirm it is an well reputed original brand with quality. Otherwise it can do more harm than good.

If you apply the above tips correctly, you would increase your hair growth potential to a great extent.
