How To Deal With Split Ends

Split ends can be very difficult to deal, they are one of the most deadliest thing that can ever happen to anyone. Split ends are very difficult to get rid and usually end up eating away the length of your hair. The major cause of split ends is damaged hair, when you handle your hair roughly, it damages the cuticle. This is the root cause of all hair problems, especially split ends. The only treatment for split ends is to chop them off. No amount of conditioning, moisturizing or oiling will cure this condition. It is best avoided in the first place, so if you feel that your ends look rough give it a close look.

You never know if you have split ends, they usually begin at the ends and start moving upwards. Some of the cases of split ends are so dreadful that these split ends climb right up to the hair roots and the only solution is to chop off the locks. If you don’t want to be a victim of such deadly hair problem, take care of your hair right away.

Adopt some preventive measures to avoid split ends.

1) Comb your hair softly, rough or rigorous combing is the major cause of split ends. Use a hair serum to remove snarls and knots, de-tangle hair with a wide toothed comb before using a fine toothed comb.

2) Stay away from heated instruments like flat iron, blow dryer, rollers, tongs etc. Heat damage can make the cuticles rough and ultimately lead to hair problems.

3) After washing your hair, do not rub it vigorously for drying. Allow your hair to air dry and use a leave in conditioner to keep them nourished at all times. Any action that can cause wear and tear to the cuticle is not good for the health of your hair. Be careful while handling your hair, treat them with tender loving care and see how they reciprocate.
