How To Cope With Skin Problems
During this hot summer months, skin problems are inevitable. People usually experience heat rashes, tanning, sun burn, prickly heat and so on. Summers can make your skin look dull, lifeless and tired. It can dehydrate your skin and make it appear extremely undesirable. To add to the problem is dirt, grime, pollution and sweat. All these factors together make a deadly combination, which can ruin your beautiful skin. The harsh UV rays of the sun are at its highest strength, during this period. So, you can imagine the damage they can cause to your skin.
It is best to avoid sun exposure. However, it may not be feasible, so the next thing you can do is, apply a sunscreen. Though our skin has the ability to repair itself, but when the upper layer of the skin is damaged, our poor skin need exfoliation to get rid of the damaged cells. It will not be able to repair itself on its own. There are some ways in which you can deal with these skin problems.

1) Follow a good skin care regime, which would include, cleansing, toning and moisturizing. Also use a night cream. Ensure that all your day creams have SPF, Sun Protection Factor. This is very crucial, and SPF of minimum 20, is what you need. Moreover, you need to apply sunscreen lotion at least 20 minutes before stepping out in the sun. Keep these small things in mind and you can save your skin from severe damage.
2) Drink, drink and drink more, but not alcohol, drink loads of water. A hydrated body would mean, hydrated skin. Also include fruits and veggies like, water melon, oranges, cucumber. They have cooling properties and are excellent for your body and skin during these hot summer months. Take care of your skin.
