Firstly, an outline is created on the lips with the help of lip liner. Make sure that the outline is created in a smooth manner, so that the shape of the lips is defined in a great way. After applying lip liner, a base is prepared on the lips for the application of lipstick with the help of balancer or face powder. Take a lip brush and apply lipstick in the inner area of the lips.

While choosing the color of the lipstick, make sure that it goes well along with your skin tone, color of the hair and lips’ shape.  Purple, pink and orange shades of the lipstick go well along with blonde hair and light skin tone. Violet and red shades suit dark colored hair and dark skin tones. Bronze and beige shades of the lipsticks suit well on women with dark hair and light skin tone.

While applying lipstick excess color is applied on the lips sometimes. In order to get rid of the excess color from the lips, a folded tissue is placed between the lips and the lips are pressed in a gentle manner. Excess color from the lips would be blotted off in a great way. Thereafter, another coat of the lipstick is applied to give a finishing look to the lips. In order to get a sexy and gleaming look of the lips, lip gloss is applied on the lips in the last step.
