Ensure to choose a face cream having sun protection factor, so that the skin is protected from the harmful ultra violet rays of the sun.  Let us here discuss about the ways of applying face cream, so that the face is nourished and brightened in a great way.

Make sure to clean and tone the skin properly before applying face cream. A good cleanser is chosen to clean the skin from the dust and dirt. Thereafter, a toner is applied on the skin to improve the elasticity and firmness of the skin. Allow the face to dry for two to three minutes before the application of cream, so as to prevent sliding off the cream from the face.

Wash the hands properly before applying the cream. Take some amount of cream into your hands and apply it on the face with the help of your fingertips. Avoid the area near the eyes. Make use of eye cream for moisturizing and nourishing the skin near the eyes. Massage the face cream in a gentle manner onto the face. Make sure to absorb any excess cream on the face with the help of tissue.

Do not ignore the neck. Make sure that you apply the face cream on the neck, so as to get an even look of the skin. Gentle strokes are carried onto the neck in upward direction, so as to avoid pulling the skin downwards.
