How Not To Ignore Hair
Hair is often overlooked when it comes to indulgent treatments. We get facials, body massages, manicures and pedicures. So why not treat our tresses to a day of spa heaven? After all the torture we put it through with hairdryers, irons and curlers, not to mention the pollution and sun exposure it is subject to, hair needs a chance to recuperate. Many spas and beauty salons offer special conditioning and hair treatments that promise to work wonders for your tresses. Howetver, if these don’t work for your budget, you could always try these simple home remedies to get beautifully indulged locks. So whether you are on a budget or decide to go all out, your hair does need some special attention.
1) To nourish and moisturize dry locks, mash an avocado and apply evenly through your hair. Leave it for about an hour and wash off to reveal gorgeous hair. Another good conditioner for hair is curd, simply apply curd on your scalp and hair for soft and smooth hair. You can also add 1 tea spoon of peppermint powder to darken your gret strands.
2) A great way to get glossy locks is by applying warm oile oil about half an hour before a shower. Also apple cider vinegar add excellent shine when used as a final rinse.
3) If you have a flaky scalp, squeeze the juice of one lemon into a bowl and mix it with a tablespoon of honey. The acid in the lemon helps get rid of the flakes while the honey moisturises your strands and negates the drying quality of the lemon, leaving your hair healthy and soft.
4) Conditioning hair is of utmost importance, leaving your hair unconditioned makes it brittle and dry, thereby making it more prone to breakage. Conditioning regularly gives hair the nourishment it requires to stay healthy. Conditioned hair is moisturised, soft and easier to detangle.
