Home Remedies to Get Rid of Blackheads
Black heads are black colored plugs in the skin that develop and thrive in oily skin conditions. They are a form of acne that mostly develop on the face but can also be seen on the chest and back. Blackheads are blocked pores comprising of dead skin and oil residues.
These blackheads get worsened due to bad hygiene and pollution. You can get rid of these ugly blackheads through laser treatment but if you want to cure them naturally, there are certain home remedies that can be easily prepared and which can serve to be of great help. Some of these natural recipes are:
Put 5 to 6 cups of water in a heating vessel. Add the juice of one lemon to it and boil. Now place it on a table and cover your head with a towel. Give your face an effective steam treatment. This will open the pores of your face. Take the steam for nearly ten minutes. Then rub your face firmly with a soft towel for 2 to 3 minutes. This rubbing will help remove blackheads from opened pores.
Take care to not rub your face vigorously. Wash your face with icy cold water to close the pores. Make your own face wash at home by mixing the juice of one lemon with half a cup of boiled milk. Use it every day to clean your face and you will see a considerable reduction in blackheads within a few weeks.
Take honey, salt and lemon in equal quantities in a bowl and mix them well. You can also add plain curd to it. Apply the mixture on the affected area and leave to dry completely. Rinse off with cold water.
Take the egg white of an egg in a bowl and beat it with a blender. Apply it on the affected area and leave it for at least half an hour. Wash it off with cold water. Rub a soft towel firmly on the area to remove the blackheads.
Pure honey pack also serves as an effective blackhead removal pack. Warm honey in a bowl and apply. Leave it to dry. Rinse off with cold water to remove blackheads.
