Rub the skin of fruits on your face. Whenever you eat a fruit, leave a little flesh on the skin and rub the inner side of the fruit skin on your face. Some of the effective fruits are papaya, banana, avocado and mango. Papaya is by far the best fruit for your skin, it adds a shine to your skin and makes it soft and supple.
Banana on the other hand has soothing properties, it will take care of minor rashes. Banana is also known to have emollient properties, mashed banana works as an excellent conditioner. Mix it with honey and you have a home made face pack ready. Mango and avocado too have skin lightening and skin brightening properties. Apply the pulp of these fruits on your face and see your skin glow.
Another home remedy is the paste of besan (gram flour), curd, lime juice and turmeric powder. Though this paste is a bit messy, it has amazing results and will improve the quality of your skin. It reduces scars and marks, removes sun tan and acts as an exfoliator.
So the dead skin cells can be removed with ease and the skin becomes lighter in just 2 weeks time. One more product that is easily available and is not so messy is milk. Simply add a pinch of turmeric powder to milk and apply it on your skin, it is known to cure sun damage.
