Home Hair Care Guide
Hair care is often an ignored part of our life and we seldom think about it. The only time we think of taking care of hair is when we loose them. Hair fall is like an alarm that your hair needs some care and attention.
But some people do not even wake up to this alarm and end up with bald patches. Hair care should begin as soon as there is a change in your lifestyle. So, the moment you start traveling to work or for college etc, you would require a change in your hair care regime. The external pollutants can play havoc with your mane and you need extra care and precaution when you are out of your cocoon.
Hair is exposed to dirt, grime, sun, sweat, infections and so on. These things require immediate attention and remedies to protect hair from damage. Simple changes like covering your hair when exposed to sun, keeping hair and scalp clean and regular shampooing and conditioning are some ways in which you can protect your mane. However, if you are already a victim of hair damage and have been facing excess hair fall then some home remedies can come to your respite.
Read on to know some simple ways of saving your hair.
Hair care tip # 1 - Massage your scalp with hot oil. This is the best way to keep your hair healthy and shiny, but the hair oil you choose will make a lot of difference. If you are willing to spend a little extravagantly then use an aromatherapy oil called Jojoba, it will make a huge difference to the health of your hair. It is the best oil in hair care, in fact it is not an oil, it is liquid wax. Oiling should always be followed up with steam to allow deeper penetration of the oil.
Hair care tip # 2 - Condition your hair with herbs like henna, amla, reetha and fullers earth. Prepare a hair pack with these ingredients and apply it once in a week to prevent hair fall and improve the health of your hair.
