Hair fall can occur due to various reasons, whether the factor is controllable or no would depend on how much do you really care for your hair. The effects of uncontrollable factors can be reduced with a good hair care routine
We share some home care tips for healthy hair:
1) Replace your shampoo with a home made cleanser made with herbs. All you need is dried Reetha, Shikakai and Amla, soak these three herbs overnight in one litre water. Next morning, simmer them on flame so as to reduce the quantity of water to half. Let it cool and then strain, this concoction is ideal for washing your hair. Reetha will prevent hair fall and is a good cleanser, Amla has properties to darken hair colour and Shikakai again strengthens the roots and is an excellent cleanser. You can store this concoction in a refrigerator.
2) To get rid of dandruff, apply pure coconut oil and leave it overnight. Follow it with lemon juice, apply lemon juice on the scalp and leave it for half an hour then wash as usual. Another remedy is to apply curd mixed with black pepper powder, this will not only check dandruff but will also condition the hair. Black pepper has properties to darken grey strands.
3) Henna application is the best remedy for all hair problems. It not only gives colour to your hair but also conditions hair and prevents hair fall. You can add lots of goodies to the henna, add 2 to 3 fresh amla paste to the henna powder while soaking it. To soak henna, do not use plain water instead use tea water and lemon juice. You can also add egg to Henna for deep conditioning.
