Healthy hair is a must have, especially during summer, when the heat is at its peak and the harsh UV rays penetrate deep inside your shaft and cause severe damage. UV rays are known to be present through all seasons, however, they vary in their strength. During summer, they are at their highest strength, they are so strong that they can penetrate thick glass, so you can imagine the condition of your poor hair. To keep your hair healthy and beautiful, you would need to invest some time and take some efforts. We suggest you some remedies for improving your hair health.

1) Wear your sunscreen - You might have heard about sunscreen for skin, but there also exists sunscreen for hair. So the next time you step out in the hot sun, wear your sunscreen.

2) Wear good quality accessories – We don’t realize the impact of hair accessories like, tight bands, metal clasps, tight bobby pins and so on. They can actually pull your hair and cause breakage. Moreover, such accessories are too rough on hair. Treat your hair gently by using hair friendly accessories.

3) When out on the beach, we suggest you wear a hair mask. Though it may look a bit weird, but who cares. As long as your hair is protected, it doesn’t matter what onlookers have to say. This mask will save your tresses and the heat will ensure deeper penetration of the hair mask, you hair will absorb more from the mask. Isn’t it an amazing trick.

4) Try some home remedies, a simple one would be to apply curd. It is an excellent conditioner and will also prevent hair fall and dandruff. Another home remedy is to apply Amla juice (Indian gooseberry). This little fruit is packed with Vitamin C and is an excellent treat for your hair. It will make your hair soft and prevent hair loss.
