Although following a diet for your hair might seem a little wierd but it will work wonders not only for your hair but will also help in losing weight. It may seem difficult but if you follow this diet for 21 days, on the 22nd day it will become a habit and you will soon follow it religiously. The remarkable results will motivate you to adhere to it for the rest of your life.

Morning – 2 fruits + red cocktail (juice made of Carrots, beetroot, tomato and lemon) + 2 whole grain breads + egg white or one cup of yoghurt.

Lunch – Salad tossed with sesame and flax seeds + vegetable dish + One pulse + bajra or wheat bran roti.

Mid Evening – 30 gms nuts

If a rigid diet is difficult to follow then atleast follow these simple steps to improve the health of your hair. Drink atleast 8 – 10 glasses of water, it not only keeps you hydrated but also makes your hair shine, moreover, with the Air conditioned office environment water intake becomes even more essential. Air conditioning dehydrates your body and makes your hair dry and rough. Also include lots of fruits and vegetables in your diet, instead of going for the regular fried samosas, pakodas or burger opt for a plate of fruit. The fibre from fruits and vegetables is good for your body and hair. If fruits and vegetables seem Ghas- Phus (for non veggies) atleast have a balanced diet with 50 % of your diet comprising of fresh fruits and vegetables. Do not use supplements, stay original.
