Scalp massage would help in stimulation of blood circulation and would promote healthy hair growth.

Excessive exposure of the hair to the heat is also harmful for the hair. Therefore, while using blow dryers, an individual should keep the heat setting at the lowest level and keep the blow dryer at some distance from the hair. Hair damage would be prevented to a great extent by taking such precaution while using blow dryer or any other heat generating hair styling equipment.

Make sure to wash the hair with shampoo immediately after coming out of the swimming pool. The water of the swimming pool is chlorinated and may damage the hair. Therefore, shampooing the hair instantly is very important to prevent hair damage. Also, an individual must wear shower cap before going into the swimming pool.

Excessive exposure of the hair to the sun and cold winds should be avoided to maintain the health of the hair and the scalp.

Make sure to eat a well balanced diet, so that the hair gets the required level of nutrition for growth.
