Happy Feet
Our feet are the most tortured part of our body and also the most neglected one. We often take care of our hands and face etc etc but ignore our feet. They too need pampering, not to mention the pain they have to go through when we wear high heels. Massaging the feet with oil is the best treat for tired feet, oil massage will not only release the strain but will also moisturize the skin. You can use Coconut oil which has cooling properties or mustard oil, this a warm oil ideal for winter.
There are ways to take care of your feet and the most important factor is your footwear. If your shoes are too tight it will put pressure on your feet and will hamper the blood circulation, this can lead to corns, bunions and ingrown nails. Always wera a comfortable pair of shoes/ sandals and do not wear stilletos for more than 1 hour in a day.
For happy feet, do pedicure atleast once in a month, you can do this even at home. Soak your feet for 10 – 15 minutes in warm water to which few drops of Pepermint Oil has been added, peppermint oil has cooling effect and is ideal for summers. Use a nail brush and rub off the dry skin around the heels, now massage the feet with an intensive moisturising cream and cover it with a napkin dipped in warm water.
Wrap the warm towel/napkin around your feet for 3 minutes, now remove cuticles from the feet nails cut any dry skin around the nair area. Cut and file your nails and apply any face or foot pack, wash it with warm water and voila you will feel as if you are walking on air. Take care of your feet and feel the difference, you will suddenly feel fresh.
