Handle Your Hair With Care
Hair too needs love and care, to keep it looking shiny and beautiful. When your hair is treated well, it will reward you with that natural shine and bounce, you had always desired. Mishandling hair will lead to permanent damage like, hair fall, breakage, dandruff, oily scalp and so on. In fact a type of alopecia is caused by when you pull your hair too tightly in the same direction everyday. Have you noticed, some school going girls who tie tight plaits have a thick parting.
This is because their mothers tie a tight plait everyday with the same parting. Since the hair is pulled in that direction everyday, it causes scarring. If left, untreated, it can lead to alopecia. Such is the devastating effect of ill-treating your hair. Save your beautiful locks from falling off, give them tender loving care.
Here’s how you should treat your hair with care. The first and the most important thing is to use the right shampoo and conditioner that suits your hair type. Half of your job is done when you choose a good hair product. Don’t be a slave to one shampoo, keep changing until you find the right one for yourself.
Your shampoo should not dry out your tresses, but at the same time, it should leave your mane squeaky clean. We suggest, you opt for a pH balanced shampoo, it will make a huge difference. Another important thing to remember is to use a separate shampoo and conditioner. Having got the basics right, it is time to look into your styling regime. Don’t expose your hair to too many heated instruments like, blow dryer, flat irons and so on.
And everytime you use such tools, ensure that you use a heat protecting hair serum or spray. Also remember that you should comb/brush your hair gently. Aggressive strokes and excessive combing/brushing can cause severe breakage, it makes the cuticles rough and leaves your hair dry. Your tresses will become vulnerable and you may develop split ends. Care for your hair and see the rewards, it will offer you.
