Hairstyles For Grooms

Sporting a trendy hairstyle is no more a prerogative of bride alone, why should brides get all the attention. Its time for the grooms to take some grooming lessons to look their best on the wedding day. Hair care for men is no different from women so go ahead and indulge in some ” ME” time to enhance your looks.

To ensure that your hair is at its best on the wedding day, take extra care of it atleast 3 months before the wedding date, use home remedies like application of curd, egg, henna, aromatherapy oils (specially jojoba oil) etc. Additionally include lots of fruits and vegetables in your diet, stay away from fried and sugar, this will not only promote the health of your hair but will also improve the quality of your skin.

Avoid washing your hair on the wedding day instead wash it a night before, also discuss about your hairstyle with your hair dresser. The hairstyle should compliment the facial structure, if you have a round face avoid middle parts and try to add height by experimenting with your crown similarly if you have long face then try to add width around the ears and cheeks.

Whatever style you choose make sure that it suits your personality type. If you plan to add some highlight streaks to your hair do it at least 15 to 20 days prior to your wedding date. This will allow the colour to settle completely. If you are highlighting your hair for the first time then go for subtle colours, don’t go 2 to 3 shades lighter.

Don’t opt for global colouring, it makes a huge difference in the looks, you sure want to be recognised at your own wedding. Any other hair treatment like straightening, perming would be tried and experimented at least 3 months before your wedding. These chemical treatments are very strong and can cause severe damage to your hair.
