Men usually don’t place much emphasis on the nitty gritties of hairstyle, for them the finer aspects of hairstyle doesn’t exist. They only carry their attitude and even if faced with some criticism for their hair do they often take it with a pinch of salt and don’t fret about it like women. But some do’s and don’ts if kept in mind can become an essential part of grooming, chilled out.
Do’s -
Always trim your hair at regular intervals of 2-3 weeks depending on the rate of hair growth. Consult your hairdresser before going for a haircut, inform him about the time you want to spend in doing up your hair everyday. If No Fuss is your idea then ask for a Zero maintenance hair cut which won’e require any styling products.
If you notice a particular haircut in a magazine or newspaper or the net then carry a copy of the picture to give an idea to your hairdresser about the kind of look you are expecting. The modifications can be done as per the face and hair type, this decision should be left with the hairdresser.
Visit the salon during the day since the number of walk in customers is less during the afternoon and the stylist will spend more time with you.
Don’ts -
Do not go to a barber, always visit a Salon. A barber is not trained and does not even have the skill.
If a hairdresser has spoiled your haircut then do not visit him again, no matter how convenient it is.
Do not keep your hair long and straight if your face is long and sleek.
Never wear a middle parting if you have thin face, it will make your face even longer and thinner.
