When it comes to kids, haircut can actually become a task. There are some kids who fear the scissors and some who fear the salon itself because there are not many salons specially for kids. If you have a kids salon in your city then this is the best place for the kid’s haircut since they are specialized to deal with children. They aim at making the environment friendly and usually have toys to entertain kids. The staff is well experienced at dealing with children during haircuts.
Taking a scared child to a salon where a stylist works only on adults can be a bad experience for your child. When it comes to kids keep the style simple and easy to maintain, trendy hairstyles can be considered for kids above 10 years of age. Kids younger than this age will play and mess up with a fancy hairstyle. If you have a girl child who is very active it is advisable to go for a ponytail since it will not tangle the hair much. If your kid’s hair is thin and fine then avoid short haircuts, also keep the bangs at least half an inch away from the eyebrows.
There are various hairstyle to choose from for your little one, for girls you can opt for pixie cut which is ideal for thin hair. Short bobs which end just below the ears suit girls with thick or thin hair and moreover they are easy to manage. If you want your girl child to have long locks then french braid is the right option, it also promotes hair growth.
For your boy child you can choose a buzz cut, it is absolutely hassle free though trimming would be required depending on the hair growth. Some other cuts you can choose from are ceaser cut or fade cut. It is a good idea to ask the hairdresser to show you pictures of these cuts to enable you to take a decision.
