Hair Styles For Round Face
The shape of your face plays a very important role while choosing your hairstyle, you can find out your face shape by drawing an outline of your face on the mirror image. Keep your hair away from the face to get the correct shape, there is one more method of identifying your face shape, cover your face with a cloth and ask someone else to feel the shape of your face, though the former method is more precise but you can double check your face shape in a simple manner.
Once you have identified your face shape the next step is to decide the most suitable hair cut which will compliment the face shape. The most easily identified shape is round face, it is widest at the ears and cheeks and will have a roundish chin, this shape is ideal for fuller and longer hairstyles. Haircuts that have more fullness near the crown are advisable for this face type but be careful, avoid fullness around the ears and cheeks. Avoid extremely collar, straight length hair since it will mirror the roundness of your face instead go for longer shoulder length styles which will add height to the structure. Also avoid center parting since it will again give a definition to your round face and add width to the cheeks, opt for side parts which will take attention away from the roundness.
Short haircuts are not meant for round face shapes, so steer clear from chin length Bobs cut and straight fringes, it is best to go for long shoulder length hair or even longer. If you have curly hair it is best to keep it long, way below shoulder or extremely short but mid – length hair is a complete no no. The key to round face is to interrupt the structure and add height to the face.
