Hair Scare Everywhere

Hair loss is a universal problem and has become a common phenomenon these days. Hair loss can be natural but most of the times it is caused due to our mistakes, in the quest to get the perfect look we overdo things and often ignore the torture we inflict on our hair. One such torture which has become a common household addiction is ironing the hair, with the irons being available so easily in the market and the remarkable result it gives within few minutes it has become the latest attraction. Everyone seems to be ironing their hair without even realizing the damage they are causing to the hair shaft due to over heating.

It can permanently damage the hair, not just that if the iron is of poor quality it can actually pull your hair and you may lose twice the hair since these irons have rough edges. Also if the iron is less than 250 watts it will actually make your hair frizzy instead of giving it a silky smooth effect. Irons with metallic plates are the worse, ceramic iron or the ionic ones are better than the metallic iron.

Additionally ironing can make the tips of your hair so dry that it can cause split ends, to combat the after effects of ironing it is advisable to provide nutrition to your body and hair. Massage your hair with hot olive oil it will nourish your hair, also eat atleast 50 gms of protien everyday,do not use protein supplements go natural.

Have plain soy milk (not the flavoured one) it is the best source of protein for your body and hair. Also check if you have iron and calcium deficiency since it may cause further hair loss. Also Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids contain anti- inflamatory properties which are useful in maintaining healthy hair so do not cut down these fatty acids from your diet.
