Hair Fall Due to Weakness

Hair loss can occur due to various reasons and weakness or anemia is one of the prime causes of hair fall. The urban life is so demanding that we stretch ourselves beyond the capacity of our body. And if that is not enough our unhealthy eating habits completes this vicious circle. We only eat to satisfy our taste buds and fill the stomach, we forget about the nutritional value of food.

Food has become source of pleasure and we like to gorge on fries and burgers and pizza’s, depriving our body of the essential nutrients. This kind of lifestyle causes weakness in the long run, we experience various deficiencies and one such deficiency is of iron. Iron is the mineral that occurs in the greatest amount in the blood. The most important function of Iron is to produce hemoglobin which carries oxygen in red blood cells.

Iron is also involved in oxygenation of your body’s red blood cells and is very essential for the normal growth and maintenance of hair. To maintain the amount of iron in your body it is important to supply it naturally through green leafy vegetable and fruits. Iron deficiency is directly related to shedding of hair since the amount of energy used up by the body is not replaced by food intake, the other non-essential stores like hair cells will be used up.

Iron deficiency is the last stage of lack of iron in the body the first one being Lowered iron stores, wherein the iron stores are reduced but not completely exhausted. The second stage is Iron depletion where the hemoglobin falls below the normal level and the third stage is iron deficiency wherein no iron is left in the bone marrow. The hemoglobin production falls drastically and you might experience weakness and tremendous hair loss.
