Hair care should be based on the type of hair you have and the length of hair. We share some tips on hair lengths and the type of care they need to maintain healthy and shiny hair.

1) Long hair - The first and the most important thing too do is to trim your hair every month. People with long hair have a problem with their ends, the ends of their hair become dry and damaged since that part of the hair is the oldest and needs to be cut. Trimming helps in maintaining good hair health. If hair is not trimmed the dryness may give way to split ends and eventually breakage since the split ends may grow higher up into the hair shaft. Trimming long hair is of utmost importance. Never sleep with your hair tied tightly, leave your hair open and allow it to breathe.

2) Short hair – Short hair is a lot more easy to handle as compared to long hair. Short hair offers a lot of versatility in terms of changing hairstyle withe the use of hair products. So if you too are a regular user of hair gels, sprays and mousses then cut down on your usage to improve the quality of your hair. If you cannot limit your usage then use a product that is free of alcohol, it can dry your hair. To reduce the effect of hair products, take a small quantity of the product in your palm and mix it with water before applying on your hair, it is less harmful.
