Hair Care for Wavy Hair
Different hair types call for specialized hair care, a remedy which may best suit oily hair will make dry hair even more drier. It is thus important to identify the hair type before you indulge in some hair care regime, not only the hair type but also the type of scalp you have will decide the care you need to take. There are many people who have a combination of different types of hair and scalp for example the hair shaft may be dry and wavy but the roots of the hair will often look oily and greasy.
This occurs when the scalp is oily but the hair becomes dry, the natural oil that is produced in the scalp does not travel down the hair because of the waves and curls in the hair as a result the hair remains dry but the scalp is oily. For such combinations it is advisable to use a shampoo meant for oily hair and a conditioner meant for dry hair.
When your hair is wavy or curly it tends to loose its shine and becomes frizzy and the major cause for this is the natural hair oil doesn’t reach the ends. This type of hair requires intensive conditioning at least thrice a week. Apart from the hair products available over the counter try some home remedies for conditioning your locks.
Apply curd once in a week, it is an excellent conditioner plus it also keeps a check on dandruff, apply it on the scalp and hair and leave it for half an hour and rinse it off off thoroughly. You can also try some aromatherapy massage oils, Jojoba oil is one of the best conditioners for hair, though it is very expensive but is worth the money spent. It can permanently straighten your curly locks if used regularly over a period of time, it controls frizz like no other product. You can replace your hair serum with Jojoba oil.
