Oily Hair – This type of hair will react well to acidic stuff like lime juice, vinegar, apple cider vinegar etc. So if you have greasy and sticky hair, try this simple trick. Apply the juice of lime on your hair, preferably on unwashed or unclean hair and leave it for 20 minutes. When you apply lime juice it can have extremely drying effect on your hair, but when it is applied on unwashed hair the dryness is reduced since the natural hair oil interacts with line juice and prevents excessive dryness. To wash oily hair you can use soap nuts instead of the regular shampoo, soak them overnight and boil the water until it is half in quantity. Now mash the soap nuts and strain, this water can be used for washing your hair. It is known to strengthen the roots and promote hair health.
Dry Hair - Milk and milk products are best treats for dry hair. Apply curd as often as you can, apply it every time before you wash your hair. Curd has excellent conditioning properties and will add shine to your hair. Dry hair needs some additional treat, so beat an egg and add a teaspoon of a heavy oil like castor oil to it and apply it like a hair mask. Use a brush for application, this will ensure that all the strands are covered.
Normal Hair - You are lucky if you have normal hair since it wont require special care and attention. Regular hair care regime of oiling, shampooing and conditioning will be fine. But ensure that you use pH balanced products to maintain the moisture levels of our scalp and hair. Whatever be the hair type, remember one thumb rule that it needs to be protected from sun.
